I did try to do that as I lost each of my family either to the Lord or of there own choosing.. but they have all gone .. I still keep praying though some days are harder than others
I agree
I am 32 years old and found out last week that the surgey I had in my ear to correct my hearing has gone tragically wrong and I am completely deaf for the remainder of my life in one side and only a hearing aid in my remaining working ear. I must continue to cope and live each day like every other day as before, going to work, looking after my kids, going out in public. I am grieving and angry and want things to go back to being easier. This quote has helped me remember what it is in my life that I still can enjoy and yes, there is a lot left. I just need to learn how to cope with this loss that makes the functional aspect of my life so challenging. I wake up at night thinking I can hear only, to realize it is a dream. Thank you for reaching out to me.
Life is not about the easy moments, it is in the darkest that we shine through the most and truly realize who we are, what we stand for and whom stands with us through our journey. Eternally grateful for the people along side me as I did not know there were so many. God taught me to slow down and appreciate life as each day is truly a blessing!
