Stop giving energy to the things you dont believe in… Wayne Dyer..Excelent
The four agreements..Miguel Ruiz
The laws of life D Chopra
Aleph Paolo Coelho
The passion test. The effortless path to discover your destiny..Janeth n Chris Attwood
I’ve been reading a really great book called “101 distractions from depression & self harm” by Sophia Payne. I’ve never self harmed but the book is great for anyone suffering from any lows in their life. It brought me out of a bad low
The Audacity of Success by Brian Grasso is also pretty phenomenal. Inspired in part by Paul Cohelo’s The Alchemist (which is also brilliant) it was released late 2012. It’s only in digital format right now but who can complain about avoiding shipping really.
Mitch Albom’s books are also inspirational. I would strongly recommend “The Five People You Meet in Heaven” though I’m only starting to read all his other works.
Paulo Coelho’s works are pretty magnificent as well. I have read “The Alchemist” and “By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept”. Both these books revolve on almost the same theme actually, about fulfilling someone’s destiny and following your dreams.
Then “The Life of Pi”, which was made into a ,movie quite recently, is an exceptional read! It is a mix of all the possible genre you could think of.
Ok….I can’t to go to bed and play with my babies!!! Lol and check In. I love my grandchildren and I respect myself and I’ll dance with the Borgata Babes and bust my management chops of Borgata with class. He won’t know what hit him!!!!!!!!!
Added to the list of must reads are any of Eckhart Tolle’s books, Any by Adyshanti, and all of Steven Harrison’s, of course I cannot forget FLOW by Mihaly Csiksentmihalyi.
Books define who you are and who you can become.
“Biting Back: A No-Nonsense, No-Garlic Guide to Facing the Personal Vampires in Your Life” is a great read. It has helped me realize things and overcome things.
Another one to check out…quick, easy, FUN and powerful read…”Get Off My Bus: How to Get Clarity, Get in the Driver’s Seat, and Get Moving in Your Life!”…I am the author, Robin Sacks. Available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kindle, Nook…all the usual suspects! . Enjoy!
Wonderful list! Thank you! I notice Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits…” May I also suggest his son’s book, “7 Habits of Happy Kids” from the Leader in Me program. Our wee one loves the stories, and we love the positive, practical messages she gets.
I love your book lists and the inspiration behind them (not to mention your blog in general)! I do something similiar with music on my blog at http://harmonycocktails.com/ I’m excited to add these books to my reading list! Thank you!
The Journey by Brandon Bays is an exceptional read… as are all her books. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and indeed any of his books are amazing.
