Always Forgive, But Never Forget

On this road called LIFE, you have to take the good with the bad, smile when you’re sad, love what you got, and remember what you had. Always forgive, but never forget, learn from your mistakes, but never forget. People change. Things go wrong. But just remember, the ride goes on. — Unknown

I Stopped Looking For Their Approval

Most of my life has been spent trying to shrink myself. Trying to become smaller. Quieter. Less sensitive. Less opinionated. Less needy. Less me. Because I didn’t want to be a burden. I didn’t want to be too much or push people away. I wanted people to like me. I wanted to be cared for and valued. I wanted to be wanted. So for years, I sacrificed myself for the sake of making other people happy. And for years, I suffered. But I’m tired of suffering, and I’m done shrinking. It’s not my job to change who I am in order to become someone else’s idea of a worthwhile human being. I am worthwhile. Not because other people think I am, but because I exist, and therefore I matter.  — Danielle Koepke

Stop Making Assumptions About Me

I am mistaken for a flirt when I’m friendly. I’m mistaken for being mean when I’m honest. I’m mistaken for sad when I want to be alone. I’m mistaken for shy when I’m quiet. Quit assuming and get to know me. — Unknown

Why People Hold Hands

I now understand why people hold hands. I always thought it was about possessiveness, saying: “This is mine.” But it’s about maintaining contact. It is about speaking without words. It is about I want you with me and don’t go.Cassandra Clare

Life Is All About Moving Forward

LIFE is not about looking back and wishing that today is the same with the past. Life is about moving on, accepting changes and looking forward to what makes you stronger and more complete — because it’s never been too late to have a life and never too late to change one. — Unknown
