True Friends Vs. Fake Friends

True friends are always there for you. Fake friends only appear when they need something from you. Time passes and you begin to see people for who they really are and not who they pretend to be. Respect people who find time for you in their busy schedule. But love people who never look at their schedule when you need them. Life is much too short to waste time on people who don’t really care for us deep down. When someone shows you who they really are believe them the first time. — Unknown

I had a old friend appear out of nowhere after my mom died and act like a best friend would . Frist she started with caring phone calls, gifts and letters. This continued in the form of daily Fb messages and cutesy gifts. Little insinuations bout what a good friend she was compared to others. At the time I had no one acting like a close friend and she was very skilled at worming her way into my life slowly and carefully. She did everything to manulipate me into leaving my family and moving away to another city. I was stupid and vulnerable after my moms death, thinking she wanted the best for her friend and it may be a good idea to start over ,In reality she was jealous of my house and my living by the beach, she wanted to destroy my life . She wanted money and soon started whinnying about her needs and taking more and more. She had a plan from the start. . She expected she would borrow money from me and that I would work for her as free labor on her horrible land which was a hoarding nightmare. She was mentally unbalanced obviously. I soon found out after I moved to her town. The first day she shook me while screaming at me. The next day she would come over crying and begging for money. I started to notice a smile when I turned around or a false front, she would not shower, was obese and stank. This was someone in serious mental breakdown. I found out soon enough she was borrowing from many people with the same stories. She started a series of verbally abusive behavior. This person was a narcissistic sociopath who soon showed her true colors. Once I refused her free labor and money, she destroyed my property, my garden, and my furniture . She insulted me at every turn, insulted my home, my life and ripped apart my well being slowly and carefully trying to make me believe her lies. I had enough after She ripped artwork off the wall and came to my home screaming at me at 10 am in the mornings. I banned her from my home and she started a city wide verbal abuse campaign toward me insulting me and spreading lies. Vicious emails and Facebook messages followed with threats. It took me 11 months to save enough to move back home – in the meantime she drove by my house daily and stalked me. Keep in mind this was someone I knew for 25 years! When I came home and told everyone what happened I was greeted with open arms by my real friends and they helped me start over. That is the mark of a true friend, one who stands by you and lifts you up with nothing expected in return. They have been wonderful and are not judgmental just sorry I had to be abused at the hands of this nut case because I am a trusting good person. Believe me evil comes from every direction and when evil sets its sight on you, its only intent is to do harm. IF your alone in life you really have to be careful who you choose as friends and be careful in how you trust. Be careful how they present themselves to you, are they trying to hard? Are they trying to exclude everyone else from your life? If so they have a agenda. I will never trust again but thank goodness I have only wonderful people in my life now that act as true friends.

This one is pretty heavy and I hope you can handle it. Which category fits you, seriously? It may be time for you to take a quick evaluation. Are you the friend that you think you are? OR… are you just a fake friend. The real ones are very hard to come by. Re-evaluate yourself today and please don’t fake the funk…
