Your Mother Is Your First Friend

Your Mother is always with you. She’s the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street, she’s the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick, the fragrance of life itself. She’s the cool hand on your brow when you’re not feeling well, she’s your breath in the air on a cold winter’s day. She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow, she is Christmas morning. Your mother lives inside your laughter. She’s the place you came from, your first home, and she’s the map you follow with every step you take. She’s your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy, but nothing on earth can separate you . Not time, not space…not even death. — Unknown

  1. I sold my house in Florida and moved to North Carolina to live with and take care of mom after daddy passed away. She’s pretty close to moving to heaven and reading this just solidified that she is and always will be my soul mate♡♡

  2. My mom was my inspiration. She was a source of comfort and safe love. Thank You GOD for blessing me with such a wonderful soul….<3 uuu my mom. Thanks for the reminder … "unknown". pG.

  3. It has been well over 10 years since my mother past away. However, I always think of her and feel her presence. She was ill for a long time and because of her illness lost her speech, lost her sight and was paralyzed on her right hand side. It was very difficult not to be able to communicate with her on a mother daughter level. To be able to express the feelings and difficulties my sister and I were experiencing. We miss her and always will she was comforting, loving and a wonderful mother. 🙂 ❤

Our Myth also tells us a story when she denied Yamraj from taking her son by sacrificing her own life. Nanak saysthus: “So kyun Maanda aakhiyein jin janmein Rajaan!”. Agains HE tells us : “Mata matt Pita Santokh”

  7. Lost my mom 6 years ago. She was the most special person in my life. I hope to grow up to be like her. She taught me about our Lord, her faith was ever present and her love beyond words. Miss her every single day of my life. I feel her in my heart as I continue in this world. Until we see each other in heaven. Love you mommy forever. xoxoxo

  8. This echoes thoughts I have had throughout the years, especially since I lost my mom far too quickly as a shockingly young age. She lives on in the sparkling personality and quirky fashion sense of my little girl, the way my little boy is so in tune with my emotions, the love I have for my children & the way I am able to mother them in such a natural way. She lives on in the hearts and souls of all who knew her, and these precious little ones who never got the opportunity to know their grandma. Beautiful, beautiful.

  9. They delete ur comments unless it’s what they want….apparently whole truths doesn’t apply here…

  10. Yep and they do say, don’t they, “keep your friends close and your enemies even closer!!”
