Giraffe gatecrashes couple’s wedding, the photos with the gentle giant made their special day EPIC!

Wedding photos are the best souvenir to commemorate the special union of two hearts. Looking at the photographs  their friends, family, and loved ones who gave time to witness their wedding will surely remind them of how lovely their celebration of union was.

Hence, during weddings, couples tend to invest in a good photographer who will immortalize their most special day. As much as possible, guests are given instructions so as to avoid unwanted photobombers.

However, in the case of the newlywed couple named Luke and Tristan Karshagen, a surprising guest attended their wedding and photobombed their pictures.

But despite of destroying their photos, it were made to be even more magical, surreal, and dreamy by the majestic giraffe who joined the couple in their special day!

“We got photobombed by this beautiful, gentle giant during the wedding. He just walked up to us and was so inquisitive, hanging around for a good 20 minutes.” Luke and Tristan shared.

The newly wed decided to get married on a glorious sunny day surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the Areena Riverside Resort. 

After their solemn ceremony of matrimony, the couple, together with their loved ones and family, went outside to take photos of the beautiful and breathtaking scenery.

It was at this moment that a wandering gentle giant popped his head over the trees, as if it was curious about what they were doing.

“We were all really excited and stopped what we were doing so we could watch him. The excitement quickly turned to nerves when he gracefully walked over the trees and straight into the area where we were taking photos.” 

The couple admitted that at first they did not know what to do. “In that moment we all just sort of scattered, bridesmaids one side into the bushes, groomsmen down the path and Luke, Tristan and I were just standing in the middle watching him.”

The gentle giant soon made its way to the path where Luke and Tristan were standing. Taking advantage of the the one-in-a-million opportunity, the photographer quickly told the newlywed to hold each other and go in for a kiss.

As it turned out, their photo is the best example of what picture perfect means.

“I was hoping to just get a photo with this beautiful giant in the background, but then he gave me even more than I could imagine by dropping his head and giving them a little nuzzle. It was the most incredible moment, and I think every single one of us was holding our breath.” 

The kind and gentle giant even allowed Luke and Tristan to pat him before he turned away and bade goodbye to the lucky couple.

Luke and Tristan’s wedding day sure became even more special thanks to the wandering giraffe who payed their wedding a visit.

Now, their wedding photos will not only remind them of the day they became one, but also of the day they have made a special friend!
